Pa. man wins ATV in drawing

Ron Metz of Hagerstown drew the winning names Wednesday in a company-wide safety prize drawing held by food redistribution company Dot Foods at its Williamsport distribution center. Larry Sprenkle of Waynsboro, Pa., won an ATV in the drawing. The $25,000 grand prize went to Willie Glasner, an employee at the company’s Vidalia, Ga., distribution center, who can use the money for a vehicle or a boat, Human Resources Manager Wendy Young said. Employees who did not have any recordable injuries in 2008 were eligible for the drawing and received bonus entries for each year they have worked for the company without a recordable injury, Young said. Metz won a pickup truck in 2006, the last time the company held the prize drawing, Young said.
