Ogier (Wheel of Time)

In Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, Ogier are a race of non-human creatures who have an intense love on knowledge. They are also great warriors and architects who "grow" many of the most impressive structures in the world including White Bridge, Tar Valon and Way Gates.

Although there was a time when Ogier would fight side by side with humans, they are a peaceful race who now avoids humans to the point that many do not believe they exist. Ogier live in Steddings.

Ogier stand about 10 feet tall (described as half again as tall as a man). They have broad noses and long tufted ears.
